On AI Impact Summit 2026, Stefan Priesner, United Nations Resident Coordinator (RC) in India, said, “I was extremely impressed about India’s leadership to invite so many heads of states and high-level delegations from other countries. But from the United Nations point of view, I’m also proud to say we had a fantastic presence here… We were impressed about the convening power of India, the leadership of India, also in terms of messaging that, we are talking about AI to generate well-being and happiness for all… This is very much along the lines, you know, of the thinking of the United Nations. We always think about those that are usually left out, try to never leave anybody behind…” On tourism in India, he said, “I am a mountain person, so my favourite places in India have to do with the Himalayas… I have also visited Rajasthan, and it’s incredible what India has to offer. I have not yet visited the south and the east, so this will be discovered… I think India is already a top tourist destination.
