Madhya Pradesh News | 3-Day Vulture Census Concludes In Panna Forests Zone #NDTV

A total of 2,301 vultures across seven species were counted this year, marking a 14 percent increase from last year’s figure of 1,810.

The South Forest Division recorded the highest number at 1,127 vultures. The Panna Tiger Reserve reported 879, while the North Forest Division counted 295.

Forest officials said the steady rise reflects sustained conservation efforts and improved habitat protection across the region.
