CNA Singapore will take action against Singaporeans who fight for foreign causes: Shanmugam

Action will be taken against any Singaporean who fights overseas for foreign causes, Coordinating Minister for National Security K Shanmugam said on Monday (Feb 23). His remarks come following a recent foreign media report claiming that two Singaporeans had fought with the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) during the Gaza conflict.

The Ministry of Home Affairs said it “does not have any substantiated information at this point” that any Singaporean is or was fighting as part of the IDF. #sgnews #singapore
