After delivering a new flawless skate in the women’s short program of the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics, Alysa Liu is heading into the free skate as Team USA’s best hope for gold. The 20-year-old is already taking home one gold thanks to a U.S. win in the team event and previously won the World Championship in 2025, a title an American woman hadn’t held for two decades.
