Harbin takes down giant snowman as temperatures rise
The iconic 18-meter-tall giant #snowman in northeast China’s #Harbin was dismantled overnight on Saturday, along with hundreds of smaller snow figures.

As temperatures climbed to around 0°C, the massive sculpture began melting, its face distorting and structure weakening. To prevent any risk of collapse and ensure public safety, crews urgently took it down.
