Newsom says U.S. is ‘moving backward’ on climate, praises China’s green development
At the Munich Security Conference, California Governor Gavin Newsom said clean energy is key to economic competitiveness and praised China’s commitment to green development.
He criticized the U.S. federal government for revoking the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s 2009 “endangerment finding” on greenhouse gases, warning the move could hurt the future of the American auto industry.
