Hundreds Float Together In Argentine Lake To Attempt Guinness World Record
Hundreds gathered along the hypersaline shores of Argentina’s Mar Chiquita Lake to attempt a new Guinness World Record for the most people floating simultaneously. The record attempt took place during the second annual Festival de la Planchita in Miramar, with organisers aiming to beat the existing record of 1,941 participants set in 2017 at Lake Epecuén. Thanks to the lake’s extremely high salt concentration, participants were able to float effortlessly, making it an ideal location for the mass floating challenge.
