On Camera, Man Crushed To Death As Container Falls Off Truck In Gujarat #NDTV

According to information received, a truck carrying a loaded container was moving along the route and was attempting to descend from the highway onto an unpaved road when the driver suddenly lost control of the steering. The container loaded on the truck fell onto a makeshift hut at the construction site.

Several labourers working at the site were reportedly sitting inside the hut and having their meal at the time of the incident. The heavy container fell directly onto one of the workers, crushing him to death on the spot. The impact of the accident was severe.

On receiving information, Pardi police rushed to the scene and began an investigation. A crane was brought in to remove the fallen container.

The accident caused traffic congestion on the Mumbai–Ahmedabad National Highway 48 for some time, leading to significant inconvenience for commuters. The entire incident was captured on nearby CCTV cameras, and police are conducting a detailed probe based on the footage.
