CGTN Puppet heads welcome the Year of the Horse

In Quanzhou, southeast China’s Fujian Province, puppet‑head carving master Huang Qinghui used his knife as a brush, carefully shaping vivid horse‑form puppet heads from camphor wood. Through delicate detail and expressive artistry, he transformed ordinary timber into spirited life, paying tribute with this ancient craft to the coming Year of the Horse.
