CNA Economic Strategy Review: Acting Minister David Neo on 3 moves to grow jobs in an AI economy

“AI is going to disrupt all sectors,” said Singapore’s Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth David Neo, as he outlined recommendations on how Singapore can keep growth inclusive as the economy transforms. He said the proposals include broadening the range of good jobs, including in essential services and skilled trades; helping Singaporeans upskill, including through a national AI workforce strategy; and supporting businesses to reinvent and become more productive.
