सांप्रदायिक शक्तियाँ क्या जानें कि मुसलमानों ने इस देश की आज़ादी के लिए कितनी महान कुर्बानियाँ दी हैं। यदि उनसे कहा जाए कि वे अपने पूर्वजों के नाम बताएं जिन्होंने स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में कोई बलिदान दिया हो, तो वे असफल हो जाएँगे, इतिहास प्रस्तुत करना तो दूर की बात है। दुर्भाग्य की बात यह है कि आज वही मदरसे, जहाँ से आज़ादी की आंदोलन की चिंगारी उठी थी, और वही उलेमा, जिन्होंने देश की स्वतंत्रता के लिए अपनी जानें कुर्बान की थीं, उन्हें आतंकवाद का अड्डा बताया जा रहा है और यह कहा जाता है कि वहाँ आतंकवाद की तालीम दी जाती है। यही सोच वास्तव में देश के विनाश की मूल वजह है।

If they were asked to name their ancestors who made any sacrifice in the freedom struggle, they would fail, let alone be able to present any historical evidence. It is unfortunate that today, the very madrasas from where the spark of the freedom movement originated, and the very Ulema who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence, are being labeled as breeding grounds for terrorism, and it is alleged that terrorism is being taught there. This very mindset is, in fact, the root cause of the country’s destruction.
