भारत और यूरोपीय संघ के बीच करीब दो दशकों की बातचीत के बाद आखिरकार व्यापार समझौता हो गया है. यूरोपीय नेता इस वक्त भारत में हैं और प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने उनके साथ बातचीत की. प्रधानमंत्री दोनों यूरोपीय नेताओं के साथ प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में समझौते का औपचारिक ऐलान किया. उन्होंने बताया कि यूरोपीय संघ के नेता एंटोनियो कोस्टा को लिस्बन का गांधी कहा जाता है..

After nearly two decades of negotiations between India and the European Union, a trade agreement has finally been reached. European leaders are currently in India, and Prime Minister Modi held discussions with them. The Prime Minister formally announced the agreement at a press conference with the two European leaders. He also mentioned that one of the European leaders, Antonio Costa, is known as the “Gandhi of Lisbon.”

UGC के नए नियम को लेकर विवाद बढ़ाता जा रहा है। आज लखनऊ में करणी सेना ने यूजीसी के नए नियम के विरोध में प्रदर्शन का ऐलान किया है। कई शहरों में भी इसे लेकर विरोध प्रदर्शन हो रहा है। UGC ने देश के सभी कॉलेजों में 13 जनवरी को इक्विटी यानी बराबरी की कमेटियां बनाने का नियम लागू किया है।इन नियमों का उद्देश्य तो कॉलेज में जातिगत भेदभाव रोकना है, लेकिन विरोध कर रहे लोगों का कहना है कि इसके नियम सामान्य वर्ग के लोगों के साथ अन्याय है। अब इसे लेकर कई आवाज मुखर हो रही है। विरोध प्रदर्शन का भी दौर शुरू हो गया है।BJP से भी इस्तीफों का दौर शुरू हो गया है।

The controversy surrounding the UGC’s new rules is escalating. Today, the Karni Sena announced a protest in Lucknow against the new UGC regulations. Protests are also taking place in several other cities. The UGC implemented a rule on January 13th mandating the formation of equity committees in all colleges across the country. While the aim of these rules is to prevent caste-based discrimination in colleges, protesters argue that the regulations are unfair to people from the general category. Many voices are now being raised against these rules, and a wave of protests has begun. Even resignations from the BJP have started to occur in response to this issue.

जाति-धर्म के नाम पर यूपी में नया सियासी संग्राम छिड़ गया है। यूं तो नए UCG बिल और शंकराचार्य विवाद पर पहले ही जुबानी जंग चल रही थी लेकिन ये लड़ाई उस वक्त तेज हो गई…जब बरेली के सिटी मजिस्ट्रेट अलंकार अग्निहोत्री ने दोनों मुद्दों का हवाला देते हुए अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया। फिर अलंकार अग्निहोत्री ने बरेली के डीएम पर बंधक बनाने का गंभीर आरोप लगाया…शंकराचार्य अविमुक्तेश्वरानंद से बात की…और देखते ही देखते ये तनातनी बढ़ती चली गई। इस घटनाक्रम के बीच यूपी सरकार ने अलंकार अग्निहोत्री को पद से निलंबित कर दिया है। उसपर अनुशासनहीनता का आरोप लगा है। साथ ही उनके खिलाफ विभागीय जांच का आदेश दिया है। अब इस मुद्दे पर सियासी बयानबाजी भी शुरू हो गई है…उत्तर प्रदेश में जाति-धर्म के नाम पर शुरू हुई लड़ाई बढ़ती दिख रही है।

A new political battle has erupted in Uttar Pradesh over caste and religion. While a war of words was already underway regarding the new UGC bill and the Shankaracharya controversy, the conflict intensified when Bareilly City Magistrate Alankar Agnihotri resigned from his post, citing both issues. Agnihotri then leveled serious allegations against the Bareilly District Magistrate, claiming he was held captive, and also spoke with Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand. The tension escalated rapidly. Amidst these developments, the UP government suspended Alankar Agnihotri from his post, accusing him of indiscipline and ordering a departmental inquiry against him. Political rhetoric has now begun on this issue, and the conflict, fueled by caste and religious divisions, appears to be escalating in Uttar Pradesh.
