कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा राष्ट्रीय युद्ध स्मारक जाकर शहीद सैनिकों को श्रद्धांजलि देने से हुआ. दिल्ली के कर्तव्य पथ पर राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराया गया, जिसके बाद स्वदेशी 105 मिमी लाइट फील्ड गन से दी गई 21 तोपों की गूंजदार सलामी के साथ राष्ट्रगान हुआ.

The programme began with Prime Minister Narendra Modi visiting the National War Memorial and paying tribute to the martyred soldiers. The national flag was hoisted at the Delhi Road of Duty, followed by the national anthem and a resounding 21-gun salute from the indigenous 105 mm light field gun.

पूरे देश में आज गणतंत्र दिवस बड़े धूमधाम से मनाया जा रहा है. आज यानी 26 जनवरी का दिन हर भारतीय के लिए बहुत खास है. दरअसल, इसी दिन यानी 1950 में भारत का संविधान लागू हुआ था.

राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने 77वें गणतंत्र दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर राष्ट्र को बधाई दी. उन्होंने महिलाओं की भागीदारी से लेकर विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में हुई प्रगति पर बात की. राष्ट्रपति आत्मनिर्भर भारत में सबकी भागीदारी पर जोर दिया.

President Draupadi Murmu greeted the nation on the eve of the 77th Republic Day. She spoke about progress in science, from women’s participation to the development of science. The President emphasized everyone’s participation in a self-reliant India.
