CNA India eyes landmark trade pact with EU as it hosts leaders of the bloc for Republic Day celebrations

India put on a display of national strength and global diplomacy, as it plays host to leaders of the European Union for its 77th Republic Day in New Delhi. The capital was transformed into a parade ground, with ground and air defence systems on show. Among the guests of honour were the presidents of the European Council and European Commission. They are due to co-chair the EU-India Summit where a landmark free trade agreement is expected to be inked. Neha Poonia has more.
