CNA Young cyclists on ‘fixies’ seen flouting cycling rules in Singapore

Young cyclists riding fixed-gear bicycles, or “fixies”, were seen flouting cycling rules on Singapore roads in videos shared online on Sunday (Jan 25).

In one video, two boys on fixies were seen along Cantonment Road, at one point riding in the middle of the three-lane road.

In another video, a rider was seen performing a stunt while riding downhill without a helmet.
