TODAY Winter Storm Brings Snow, Causes Icy Power Lines in Henderson, Texas

The Texas power grid is being put to the test this weekend as subfreezing temperatures and dangerous wind chills hit the region.

As of Sunday morning, around 124,000 customers in Texas are without power, as frigid temperatures and a mixture of sleet and snow wallop the state. Freezing rain is expected to move out of central Texas today, but flurries could persist in northern parts of the state. The National Weather Service said freezing temperatures and hazardous travel conditions will last through Monday. #TODAYShow
