Al Jazeera English US braces for winter storm: Heavy snow expected from Texas to the east coast

The US is bracing for what’s expected to be one of the most severe winter storms in the last decade.
States from Texas right across to the East coast are set to be hit with extreme cold and heavy snow.
Officials are urging people to stock up on emergency supplies and avoid travel.
