CNA Disney World worker hurt after shielding crowd from 180kg boulder at Indiana Jones show

A Walt Disney World worker in Florida was injured on Tuesday (Dec 30) while attempting to stop a 180kg prop boulder from rolling into a seated audience at an Indiana Jones live show.

Eyewitness videos captured the moment the prop rolled off its track and barrelled towards spectators during a recreated scene from the first film, Raiders of the Lost Ark.

One of the attraction’s scheduled shows was cancelled after the accident, and Wednesday’s shows were modified to exclude the prop boulder. Disney said it was reviewing why the prop rolled off the track and did not disclose details of the worker’s injuries, citing privacy reasons. #usa #usnews
