CGTN Rare ‘space jellyfish’ cloud appears after China rocket launch
A rare “space jellyfish” cloud was observed over south China after a Long March-7A rocket successfully launched the Shijian-29 A and B satellites from the Wenchang Space Launch Site on Wednesday morning. The glowing plume, captured by a rocket photographer in Hainan, formed as the rocket’s exhaust expanded and condensed at high altitude, creating a jellyfish-like pattern across the sky.
