TODAY US Conducts First Land Strike in Venezuela, Trump Says

In an escalation of pressure on Venezuela, President Donald Trump said his administration carried out an attack on Venezuelan soil targeting what he described as a “big facility.” NBC News has not been able to verify where or when the attack happened. The U.S. has been hitting alleged drug trafficking boats at sea for months with the most recent strike killing two on Monday, according to the Pentagon. NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez reports for TODAY.
