Al Jazeera English Trump signals Ukraine peace deal in ‘final stages’ as talks with Zelenskyy begin in Florida

The US President says Ukraine and Russia both want to end the war and that talks are moving forward.
Donald Trump struck an upbeat tone as he met Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Florida.
He said negotiators are discussing a 20-point plan covering security and prosperity, with no fixed deadlines.
Trump confirmed he plans to speak again with Russian President Vladimir Putin after the meeting.
He said European countries are closely involved in security arrangements.
Zelenskyy said progress has been made but key issues, including territory, remain under discussion.
