CNA Remotely operated drones help authorities respond to emergencies faster

Making Singapore’s waters safer and emergency responses at sea faster with remotely operated drones. The Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) has rolled out the use of such drones for surveillance – the first organisation to do so across Singapore’s port waters. The drones can be deployed by up to 80% faster compared to the previous way, which required operators to physically launch them on-site. Charlotte Lim reports.
