The protesters were condemning the brutal killing of Hindu youth Dipu Das in Bangladesh. Police have filed charges of rioting, breaching barricades, and obstructing public servants. বাংলাদেশের ডেপুটি হাইকমিশন ঘেরাও অভিযানকে কেন্দ্র করে রণক্ষেত্র হয়ে উঠেছিল কলকাতার বেকবাগান এলাকা। সেই ঘটনায় ধৃত আন্দোলনকারীদের আজ আদালতে পেশ করা হলো। মঙ্গলবার ‘বঙ্গীয় হিন্দু জাগরণ মঞ্চ’-এর মিছিলে পুলিশের সঙ্গে দফায় দফায় ধস্তাধস্তি ও লাঠিচার্জের ঘটনায় ১২ জনেরও বেশি বিক্ষোভকারীকে গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছিল। ওপার বাংলায় হিন্দু যুবক দীপু দাসের নৃশংস হত্যার প্রতিবাদে সরব হয়েছিলেন তাঁরা। ধৃতদের বিরুদ্ধে সরকারি কাজে বাধা ও অশান্তি ছড়ানোর অভিযোগে মামলা রুজু করা হয়েছে। আদালতের রায়ের দিকে তাকিয়ে এখন সব পক্ষ। দেখুন কোর্ট চত্বর থেকে সরাসরি এই প্রতিবেদন।
