A private jet carrying Libya’s Chief of Staff Mohammed Ali Ahmed Al-Haddad and other high-ranking military officials crashed near Ankara, Turkey, resulting in the deaths of all eight people on board, including three crew members. The jet, a Dassault Falcon 50, lost radio contact shortly after takeoff from Ankara’s Esenboga Airport and reportedly experienced an electrical failure. Turkish authorities have recovered the wreckage, including the black box and voice recorder. Libyan Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah mourned the loss, calling it a ‘tragic and painful incident.’ Emergency teams continue to investigate the cause of the crash
