Travel alert about Japan “responsible” for Chinese citizens’ safety
#FMsays In response to speculations that #China’s latest #travel alert to its citizens about #Japan is aimed at countering Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi’s remarks on Taiwan, the Foreign Ministry clarified that the travel alert was in connection to Japanese authorities announcing that there will be a greater earthquake in Japan in the near future, adding that the timely consular alert by the Chinese government is “a duty that China’s diplomacy should fulfill” and that a natural part of its people-centered diplomacy.
