CNA China-based syndicates targeting foreigners in crypto scams: Reports

Tens of thousands of Chinese scammers have been deported back home from Southeast Asia in recent years. While overseas, their targets were primarily fellow Chinese nationals. Now that they are back on home soil, some have resumed their old activities and this time, they are going after foreigners. CNA’s Tan Si Hui reports.
