CNA Hong Kong firefighters racing to save lives despite heat, constrained spaces

Fires in 4 of the 7 blocks ablaze in Hong Kong’s Wang Fuk Court housing complex are now largely extinguished, while the remaining 3 are under effective control.

Hong Kong Fire Services Department officials gave the update, explaining the challenges they face in search and rescue operations and why they have decided against deploying more firefighters in the buildings.
