NDTV Bengal SIR | ‘If You Hit Me, Will Shake Up India’: Mamata’s Stern Warning To BJP, EC

The political showdown in West Bengal has intensified over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. Chief Minister and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee led a massive anti-SIR march in North 24 Parganas, accusing the BJP of attempting electoral fraud. She warned the BJP and the Election Commission that if they try to target her, she will “shake up the entire nation.” The BJP has hit back, claiming Mamata is “scared” and that her defeat is imminent. Mamata asserted that Bengal is not Bihar and that the BJP will not be able to win the state.
