China’s first domestically designed super dredger completed its sea trials in the Yellow Sea in northeastern China on November 25. With a capacity of over 35,000 cubic meters, the “Tongjun” ranks as Asia’s largest and the world’s second-largest dredging vessel. The achievement marks a major breakthrough in China’s high-end equipment manufacturing and will significantly enhance the country’s capabilities in maritime engineering and infrastructure construction.
