CNA PM Lawrence Wong receives grand welcome in Ethiopia

🇸🇬🤝🇪🇹 Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong received a grand welcome in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Sunday (Nov 23) following his attendance at the G20 Summit in South Africa. Mr Wong was welcomed by his Ethiopian counterpart Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali.

Alongside of a video of the colourful welcome, PM Wong wrote on Instagram: “Grateful to be welcomed by (PM Abiy Ahmed) himself! Addis Ababa means ‘new flower’, a symbol of vibrancy, hope and growth. Looking forward to the visit ahead!”
