महाराष्ट्र में आगामी निकाय चुनावों को लेकर राजनीतिक हलचल तेज हो गई है और विभिन्न दल लगातार जनसभाएं कर रहे हैं. इसी बीच सूबे की सियासत में नया विवाद उस समय खड़ा हो गया जब उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार ने मालेगांव में एक सभा के दौरान विवादित बयान दे दिया. डिप्टी सीएम ने एक जनसभा को संबोधित करते हुए कहा, ‘अगर आपके पास वोट हैं, मेरे पास फंड है. अगर हमारे उम्मीदवार जीतेंगे तो मैं विकास के लिए पैसों की कोई कमी नहीं होने दूंगा. लेकिन यदि आप हमें नहीं चुनेंगे, तो मैं भी आपकी मदद नहीं करूंगा. दरअसल अजित पवार के इस बयान ने तुरंत राजनीतिक बहस को हवा दे दी, जिससे विपक्षी दलों ने उन पर चुनावी प्रक्रिया को प्रभावित करने का आरोप लगाया है. सरकार की ओर से अभी तक इस बयान पर कोई आधिकारिक स्पष्टीकरण नहीं दिया गया है. महाराष्ट्र के डिप्टी सीएम अजित पवार ने मालेगांव में नगर पंचायत के चुनाव प्रचार की शुरुआत में ही विवादित बयान के बाद मामला गरम हो गया है. उनके इस बयान को लेकर उद्धव ठाकरे शिवसेना और कांग्रेस ने अजित पवार को घेरा है.
