Hindustan Times Trump’s ‘Quiet, Piggy’ Comment Draws Criticism, White House Defends President Against Media Backlash
The White House defended President Donald Trump on Thursday (November 20) after he called a female reporter “piggy” while she questioned him about the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Officials said the remark reflected the president’s frankness and transparency.
The exchange, which occurred aboard Air Force One last week and has since gone viral, showed Trump leaning toward the reporter, pointing his finger, and saying, “Quiet, piggy,” as she pressed him about a recently released Epstein email claiming Trump “knew about the girls.”
