Global NewsToronto contractor drives snowplow through pro-Palestinian protest

A contracted worker for the City of Toronto drove a snowplow through a crowd of pro-Palestinian protesters outside the city’s U.S. Consulate Tuesday evening.

The incident was caught on camera by witness Jag Ghankas, and the female employee can be seen driving on a designated protest area – on a sidewalk – before driving away and being stopped by nearby police officers.

Recalling the “weird” moment, Ghankas told Global News that authorities did not rush to stop the suspect, and once they did, they failed to ID her, before letting her go.
