तालिबान के सत्ता में लौटने के बाद अफगानिस्तान और भारत के राजनयिक रिश्तों में एक लंबा सन्नाटा था. भारत ने औपचारिक मान्यता नहीं दी. दूतावास बंद हुआ. प्रोजेक्ट ठप पड़े. लेकिन संपर्क पूरी तरह नहीं टूटा. अब इसी ठंडी पड़ी कूटनीति में हलचल तेज हो गई है. अफगानिस्तान के उद्योग एवं वाणिज्य मंत्री नूरुद्दीन अजीजी आज भारत आ रहे हैं. यह दौरा सिर्फ एक मुलाकात नहीं, बल्‍क‍ि बदलते ज‍ियोपॉल‍िट‍िकल बैलेंस का एक ह‍िस्‍सा है. इससे अफगान‍िस्‍तान को तो फायदा होगा ही, भारत को भी बहुत बड़ा लाभ होने वाला है. नूरुद्दीन अजीजी की भारत यात्रा तालिबान-भारत संबंधों में नया मोड़ है, जिससे व्यापार, चाबहार पोर्ट और रणनीतिक साझेदारी को मजबूती मिलेगी, पाकिस्तान की निर्भरता घटेगी.

After the Taliban’s return to power, there was a long lull in diplomatic relations between Afghanistan and India. India did not formally recognize them. The embassy was closed. Projects were stalled. But contact was not completely lost. Now, this frozen diplomacy has become active. Afghanistan’s Industry and Commerce Minister, Nooruddin Azizi, is arriving in India today. This visit is not just a meeting, but a part of the changing geopolitical balance. This will not only benefit Afghanistan but will also greatly benefit India. Nooruddin Azizi’s visit to India marks a new turning point in Taliban-India relations, strengthening trade, the Chabahar Port, and the strategic partnership, while reducing dependence on Pakistan.
