A tarpaulin flew off a truck on the highway, causing the following vehicles to swerve to avoid it. One driver, spotting the hazard, promptly pulled over and dragged the obstructing tarp to the side of the road. Seeing this, another truck driver stopped in the emergency lane behind him, turning on his hazard lights to create a safety corridor from oncoming traffic.
