TODAY Suspect Arrested in Shooting of ‘Last Chance U’ Coach John Beam

A suspect, identified as Cedric Irving Jr., was arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of beloved football coach John Beam. Police say Beam was shot at the fieldhouse at Laney College in Oakland, where he served as athletic director and gained famed from the Netflix show “Last Chance U.” NBC’s Steven Romo reports for Sunday TODAY.
