Last year’s strike by Canada Post workers threw a holiday curveball to households and businesses across the country.

And although both sides have returned to the bargaining table, many are nervous about a repeat this year.

After a month-long strike – which started exactly one year ago – the federal labour relations board ordered postal workers to return to work. The backlog that resulted from the strike meant there were still delays with just days to go before Christmas.
