FOX 9 Minneapolis-St. Paul Minneapolis police give therapy dog to family of Annunciation victim Fletcher Merkel

Minneapolis Police homicide investigators presented the family of 8-year-old Fletcher Merkel with a golden retriever puppy named Xander. Fletcher was killed in the Annunciation Church shooting on August 27th, and the presentation occurred nearly three months later. Officers raised money for the puppy, and Xander will be trained as a therapy dog for the family by Rolling Oaks Goldens.
