Instead, the Ford government has set aside $210 million for traffic calming measures like signs and speed bumps, which it argues are more effective.

Friday’s ban completes a whirlwind legislative push against automated speed enforcement that began in September.

But as Jaden Lee Lincoln reports, parents in some Ontario communities are concerned it could put their children at risk.
