As the cold weather approaches, the autumn scenery is reaching its final peak.

One of the most famous spots for autumn leaves in the country, Naejangsan in Jeonbuk, is completely covered in colorful foliage.

Under the blue sky, the mountainsides have transformed into a vibrant tapestry of colors.

The fiery red and yellow leaves bask in the warm autumn sunlight, showcasing their brilliant beauty.

The tranquil pond and pavilions blend with the colorful foliage, creating a picturesque watercolor scene.

The autumn leaves of Naejangsan, known as Mt. Kumgang of Honam, have reached their peak.

[Lim Hyung-jun & Go Ah-ra/Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do: “It’s so beautiful. There are so many places to take pictures that my phone’s storage is about to burst.”]

Due to prolonged late-summer heat, Naejangsan’s foliage is about six days later than usual this year.

However, the vivid and beautiful colors are just as stunning as in any other year.

Friends who have been together for 40 years since their middle school days —

[“One, two, three. Fighting!”]

And children seeing autumn leaves for the first time together create unforgettable memories.

[Jin Seul-ki & Lee Dong-bin/Haeundae, Busan: “The leaves were so beautifully colored that we took them out of the water to look at them together. (It was fun finding a big one.)”]

The tree-lined tunnel leading to the mountain temple is perfect for enjoying the late-autumn atmosphere.

More than 50,000 people visited Naejangsan last weekend to enjoy the fall foliage.

At the end of a short autumn, the red leaves blooming across the mountains beckon to visitors.
