IOM says humanitarian operations in Sudan's North Darfur are 'on the brink of collapse'

The UN’s migration agency is warning humanitarian operations in Sudan’s North Darfur region have been pushed to the brink of collapse
Nearly 90,000 people have fled the region’s capital el-Fasher since it was seized late last month by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces. The group is reported to have carried out widespread atrocities in the city.

Amy Pope is Director General of the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
She says Sudan is the largest displacement crisis in the world and that women and children are making up most of the numbers.
