Global News20 Turkish troops killed in military plane crash in Georgia, black box found

A Turkish C-130 military cargo plane with at least 20 personnel on board crashed in Georgia after taking off from Azerbaijan on Tuesday, marking the NATO member’s deadliest military incident since 2020.
 
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said Wednesday that authorities had found the flight recorder of the crashed Turkish military cargo plane.
 
“We have recovered the remains of 19 of our martyrs. Our search for final remains continues,” Erdogan added.
 
Inspections are ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
