Global NewsCanada honours Gordie Quan, last Chinese veteran of WWII

This week will mark the first Remembrance Day without Gordon, or Gordie, Quan, who had long been recognized as Canada’s last living Chinese veteran of the Second World War.
Quan passed away in October, just shy of his 100th birthday. Now his son is reflecting on his service as a new exhibit at Vancouver’s Chinese Canadian Museum honours veterans like him.
