पाकिस्तान में असिम मुनीर को 27वें संविधान संशोधन के तहत चीफ ऑफ डिफेंस फोर्सेस (CDF) बनाया जा रहा है। इस पद के साथ उन्हें सेना की सर्वोच्च शक्तियां मिलेंगी। मुनीर को आजीवन फील्ड मार्शल का दर्जा भी मिलेगा। इस परिवर्तन से पाकिस्तान में राजनीतिक और सैन्य स्थिति में बदलाव की आशंका है। विपक्ष ने इसका कड़ा विरोध किया है और देश में व्यापक प्रदर्शन हो रहे हैं।

Asim Munir is being appointed Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) in Pakistan under the 27th Constitutional Amendment. This position will grant him supreme military powers. Munir will also receive the rank of Field Marshal for life. This change is expected to alter the political and military landscape in Pakistan. The opposition has strongly opposed it, and widespread protests are taking place across the country.
