UPS plane crash: Death toll rises to 12, NTSB looking at maintenance history of aircraft
The death toll has risen to at least 12 people killed, including a child, and more than a dozen others injured after a UPS plane crashed shortly after takeoff near the Louisville International Airport on Tuesday.
National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) board member Todd Inman said during an update on Thursday they are going to go back and look at the maintenance history of the aircraft.
Inman said it will “be a laborious process to go through everything, especially when you’re talking about six weeks of it being (in San Antonio).
Inman also said they’re looking at CCTV video from the airfield to “understand anything what was being done around the aircraft.”
