Ukraine destroys Shahed drone base in Donetsk | Ukraine Brief
Overnight Thursday, Russia launched 90 kamikaze drones with most being intercepted, while 27 had struck in 13 locations. In Dnipropetrovsk, a strike in Kamianske killed one person and injured at least eight, also damaging power lines and infrastructure, and trapped hundreds of miners underground. Ukraine targeted an oil refinery in Russia’s Volgograd region, halting production, while video appeared as Ukraines special forces destroyed a Russian warehouse storing kamikaze drones in occupied Donetsk. Meanwhile, Sweden and Estonia warned that the Baltic Sea faces increased pressure but is better protected, urging tougher sanctions on Russia.
