सोनभद्र पुलिस के इनपुट पर गाजियाबाद स्वाट टीम ने कोडीन युक्त कफ सीरप की अवैध तस्करी का भंडाफोड़ करने के बाद अब इसके पीछे चल रहे बड़े नेटवर्क का खुलासा किया है। जांच में सामने आया है कि गिरोह फर्जी फार्मा लाइसेंस, नकली ई-वे बिल और मुहरों के सहारे करोड़ों रुपये की दवाओं की सप्लाई देश के अलग-अलग हिस्सों में करता था। नेटवर्क का संचालन सौरव त्यागी के इशारे पर होता था, जो इंदिरापुरम में फार्मा फर्म के नाम पर यह गोरखधंधा चला रहा था।

Based on intelligence from Sonbhadra police, the Ghaziabad SWAT team busted an illegal cough syrup smuggling operation and has now uncovered the large network behind it. Investigations revealed that the gang used fake pharmaceutical licenses, counterfeit e-way bills, and forged seals to supply medicines worth crores of rupees to different parts of the country. The network was operated at the behest of Saurabh Tyagi, who was running this illicit business under the guise of a pharmaceutical firm in Indirapuram.
