Louisville Airport: A UPS cargo plane, a McDonnell Douglas MD-11 freighter, crashed shortly after taking off from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport in Kentucky on November 4, 2025. The aircraft, bound for Honolulu, reached only 175 feet before descending rapidly and crashing in a fiery blast, producing thick black smoke visible in the area. Three crew members were killed, and 11 others injured, some seriously, according to local authorities.
