In 2025, Putin Launched 44,000 Shahed ‘Suicide’ Drones At Ukraine, 4 Times More The Attacks In 2024
Russia’s drone attacks on Ukraine have surged in 2025, with the first 10 months seeing a 303% increase compared to 2024. Over 44,000 Shahed drones have been launched this year, more than quadrupling last year’s total, according to Sky News citing the Centre for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS).
