Coimbatore Horror: 20-Year-Old Victim Attacked Near Coimbatore Airport, Police Intervene | Dispatch
A shocking crime has rocked Coimbatore a 20-year-old college student was gang-raped near the city’s airport.
Police arrested three suspects Guna, Karupasamy, and Kaleeswaran after shooting them in the legs when they tried to escape.
The accused were construction workers from a nearby area and attacked the victim after assaulting her boyfriend.
All three have been hospitalized, and further investigation is underway.
Authorities say the case highlights rising concerns over women’s safety in Tamil Nadu.
